From the Director…

J_NettleJason Nettle grew up in Columbus, Ohio and attended Otterbein University.  He then pursued his career as a professional actor in New York City for 12 years.  He later received his Masters Degree in Theater from The University of Central Florida and moved to Jacksonville to work at The Alhambra Theater and Dining.  He became the PVHS drama teacher in 2016 and was honored to be called Teacher of the Year in 2020.

Since taking over the department, troupe 7331 has expanded in talent, size, and recognition, being called by some college professors as one of the top performing arts high schools in Florida.  The troupe receives numerous superior ratings each year at District and State Festivals, as well as the top honors of Critic’s Choice and last year becoming the District 2 rep, the highest honor only one event can receive.

It is only through the commitment, determination, and support from students and parents that this troupe can be successful.  It is only with the respect we give each other that we make the performing arts as powerful and educational as possible.
